Tom and I decided to plan a trip to go west. Donna the Buffalo was playing in White Sulphur Springs, Montana. Todd Snyder, too, so we just got a wild hair and decided to go. He gave me a couple of days in the middle to plan and he took care of the beginning and end, as well as the plane tickets. The time was sort of set by the Red Ants Pants Festival, and we decided to get an RV for that piece of the trip because it isn't terribly warm and we are getting too old to sleep on the ground. We stepped up the size of the rental RV because Jimmy Duncan and Keith said that they were going to come out for the festival - Tom and I were going to tack sightseeing on both ends of the festival.
